Testo Cannonball

I stopped by my parents house the other day,
just to say hello.
There's nobody home but you know that's ok,
they're usually there you know.
I sat for a while but then I drove away
maybe for good this time.

It's my cannonball, I wish I could send it off to you.

To make it worse,
I work a job that I hate.
I really like to talk,
should I pay by the day?
