Scattered storms from Reno to L.A.
The city of canyons,
hot as hell all day
Tornadoes in the alley,
turbulent air
Event horizon,
we’re not even sure we care

Discontent out on the streets
Tempers flaring in the dust and heat

Fruits of love
Yours and mine
Would see brighter days

What bought us here

Heavy weather

Dark clouds, flood waters rising
We don’t change,
hardly surprising
I might sigh and you may frown
But we can see it’s all coming down
