Testo In My Quiet Place

Big trees balance alongside the road
where I walk
they form a green roof above my head
creating a place for my thoughts
I try to grasp the raw air
to understand the chattering of the birds
as I picture myself in those treetops up there
blowing freely in the air
the light is slowly fading out
in the horizon
the wind lulls the sun asleep
I wrap myself up in the clouds
no need for words now
I am in my quiet place
where I indulge myself in silence
let my woolgathering lead me astray
