Testo Citrinitas

Testo Citrinitas

I saw two horses
Eat each other last night
Their eyes spoke of battles
And love for their mutual spite
A violent princess
In yellow appeared from afar
And as she came closer
She fuelled their perpetual war
She beckoned the former
The latter dissolved into sighs
Like tears of Sophia
Its hopes became chained in the skies

One hundred and eleven flowers
Gilded enigmas
Placed upon my eyes
Shall calmly
Turn into dust

Show me
How to
Kill my gods
A rat forged in fires
Made waves that tore through the earth
The dragon lay sleeping
Awaiting a reason to birth
Silence was broken
Thunder in hearts came alive
Six scales of passion
In five upheavals arrived
And tore
It all apart
To make
Enduring art

One hundred and eleven flowers
Gilded enigmas
Placed upon my eyes
Will surely
Turn into dust

Lay me down
On withered leaves
Place the crown
In chambers of thieves
Before the day
Begins to break.
