I always say, to myself..
but that shit doesn't work.

'Cause talking doesn't work, and sleeping doesn't help,
'Cause my bad fucking temper is making my life hell.

I don't mean to yell, I'm just angry at myself
for all the things that I said, even more so 'cause I meant them.
I don't hate you; I despise myself for sometimes thinking that I do.

I'd close my eyes, if I could,
but some light would do me good,
'cause this cloud above my head is getting old.

Some sunshine for once in my life would be nice.

But that's alright, we all write about clouds,
even when the sky is clear.
