A burning effigy of you and me
it's something that we used to be
as we make believe that this is still a home

all that's left of me
this effigy
a reminder there was sanity
have i lost the will to know where i belong
or find my way home

if there's a place for us

like a child i will learn how to walk
this fire could lead me throug the dark
but the difference is a child knows how to love

Is this effigy the enemy
it's silent , it wont talk to me
