My youth,
Time of delight
Ruined by my own hand.
Now only affliction,
A response to needless departure.
A judgment of regret.

Blissful innocence I wished to maintain.
But a darkness,
A melancholy ached to be free

Often I turned to friends,
Only to be let down.
Detachment became the solution.
Isolation.

A relentless battle fought
In mind,
In body,
In soul.

With time madness set in. The battle was lost.
Time came to a stand still
Only one question was left
