and our audible breaths found a melody.
the light splashed the windows,
dripped down the back wall,
and soaked us undressed on the floor.
and my imperfections look so good against yours,
the curves and the scares blur as one in the dark.
i found your collarbone, traced a path to your throat,
and whispered this heavy in your ear.

i smiled to myself,
cause thought i had it all figured out.
but isn't that just how is goes?
