I've given up on life
Just like it gave up on me

My life, the self fulfilling catastrophe

Everything I try to do
All of my goals and dreams
Lay trampled and ripped apart I hope someone hears my screams

I bang my head against the wall
Kick scream and shout
Try to be optimistic
But I'm overcome with doubt

My mind feels like shattered glass
Broken, beat up and abused
I wonder through life miserably
Everyday dazed and confused

Life you say is a roller coaster
But to me more like a free fall
Never up, always down I'm in the ocean ready to drown
The riptides are pulling me in
I've given up, I know I can't win
