Friction within my thoughts makes way for the flames, burning up my self-control (and I’m alone)
On my own in eternal struggle with the darkness inside
As I recoil from the turmoil within, I feel the earth collapse around me, everyone is staring, wondering why
There is a difference between what you see and who I am, constant suppression leaves me paralyzed
I must learn to harness this disease
And if I’m playing with fire, it is my burden to decide what transpires
