It seems to be a gift
one that never should have been -
nullifying any if
by proclaiming deeper sins

extraordinary
like anybody else and me
somehow uncontemporary like the shame of being free

and or but we will go on like this
and there's no one who's rethinking that bliss

and it will take a while
until the curtains stop to fall
an undecided trial
wrote our lost time on the wall

a deeper sense divides
what was known as only one
and the wasted use of “hide”
makes the human gift do wrong
