Crashing from black caffeine
It always defeats me
A T3 deficiency
Whose short leash is choking around my neck
And pulling me back to bed again

And I can't seem
To lift this heavy boulder laying on my chest But what's one
Routine obligation stacked on all the rest?

If I can find enough strength to lift my head
Then I can find a way to begin again, right?
