Pain, sore, aching feet Pain, sore, aching feet Somewhere where dream meets reality In the doldrums of your mind We find a gray-green ambiance Lizard becomes man And vice-versa Very strange but strangely logical The sheriff, the men with red necks The posse, shotguns at the ready Creep & stumble through the swamp's vegetation Flashlights search the undergrowth For signs of visitation But lizard people have no need to fear They are above, beyond & totally elsewhere We are the lizard people Caught in the fifth dimension (No matter how long you suffer Be it three months or 30 years No matter what your problems are Corns, calluses, pain in the balls of your feet Burning hair endings Painful ankles Old injuries Aching feet, pain, sore, aching feet, plane soar Somewhere where dreams meet reality They are above, beyond & totally elsewhere Pain, sore, aching feet Lizard becomes man And vice-versa You may say, "Very strange." But I say, "Strangely logical."
