Give me a second to think about the moment
We wrote a page in a book about the day
Where memories are nothing but truth until they're spoken
and messages that tell us to let out the pain

I am not so wise.
I'm just like the man who ponders before he lies.
Lost in our words, its easy to see that we care
Want to settle all our differences now?
So we'll have time for the youth that we've never been because we're so grown up
and barely the age to determine what haste can cause.
