How long shall we rape the elements of life?
How long shall we rob the earth from all her pride?

Do your words of reason
rhyme with compassion
Does tradition justify your murder?
Are we standing still in evolution? Animals suffer for our luxuries, for things we don't need

And I question
Can't you feel in your heart how this is wrong?
And can't you see in your heart you have a choice?

Every right choice means a lesser cruelty
Every choice means compassion
Every choice of compassion is a road to salvation

How long shall we rape?
How long shall we rob?
When will we learn?
