My world was black and grey

For years it was just day to day
A shell of who I was
Because of what I lost
And it cost me so much

Staring at a wall for hours on end Wasting my life again and again

This heavy void filled my mind
Prescribed a solution to save my decline

My attention was nowhere to be found
No focus
Chaotic struggle
And it's holding me down
Like I'm being drowned

At the bottom of the lake
I see your face
So I let the water into my lungs
This is what I've become
My world has no color
It will always be this way
An empty heart
Wilted I will stay
