We spent our time with each other,
Making the most of those halcyon days gone by,
And relived in memories,
That I never wanted to end.
It was not long before,
Things changed for the worse.

You always told me how, You wanted me to succeed.

This is my life,
I live it how I chose,
And if I meet this goal,
Just know I did this all for you

Though you are not here with me,
