Sweeping the morning street with a hose
Attached to the tap beneath the dark glass
Of a clothes store front
In the eastern most part of the city

Why would we waste any time?
All these people stuck inside our minds....
Who is to say, "If you let your hair down, it'll be the end of you."
Don't listen to it.
Be afraid of what you'll become if you let it get to you.

Standing on the corner, staring with such emotion at the water hating (?) passing cars.
