Maybe it's a losing battle

Maybe we may never win
But they cannot say we didn't try

I dream of a world without hate
A world where people live in peace
A world without borders or nations or wars Where people are people and nothing more

But it's a fucked up world we live in
And so few truly see how life could be
If we could all set aside differences
And come together as one

Maybe it's a losing battle
We'll never save humanity
But if we want to make things better
