I dreamt of love
& woke with remorse
In hopes that sleep would claim me again
So i could regain what i'd lost.

I feel the bars of wariness surrounding me
I can see through them but i cannot escape.
We all dwell
In our fiction
One that can lock doors from all we know
To view the world through different eyes
Is to find yourself lost inside
