damn i'm down to running on fumes
now these ever changing moods
of mine have finally regained the upper hand
so i just plug in the chord
avoid the beer on the floor
and hide behind a telecaster and a stand

can't see a thing but the mic as i am blinded by light my eyes

Damn some nights are bringing me down
i don't do well in a crowd
of drunken patrons when i'm sober as can be so i keep biting my nails
exhaustion's 'bout to prevail
just keep the autopilot on till i can sleep

can't see a thing but the mic
as i am blinded by light my eyes
my body covered in smoke
on it's way down my throat and i choke
