when this hypodermic life gets under your skin
and its anesthetic people make your blood thin
just breathe deep
let their ether put you to sleep
let your veins oxidize all the needles on the street
let your pupils constrict with this rhythm you keep
and float along side of helium balloons
where amnesia is the balance of a spinning room you can't stay high in this black sky
with out the albino wings that make you fly
you're just one dead leaf held in the arms of the wind
it's a brave new world
escapism
