I'm so sick of everything around telling me I'm wrong
Telling me I cannot be myself, or the life I choose to live
guaranteed to loose unless I am like you
sometimes it seems no matter how I try
that I'm gonna fail, and life will pass me by
and others will receive who don't appreciate
what they really have I hope it's not too late
Everything I do-it's not good enough, Everything I say-you tell me to shut up Everything I know-it's all wrong, stop telling me how to live my life
I'm not going to take this any longer, fight back regardless of who is stronger
No more watching life just pass me over, I am staying true and I will conquer
There is nothing that can buy the sunrise
or the priceless things in life, the hope I have inside
Nothing in my heart can be ripped apart
by what a gimmick states is the only was
And when I'm feeling good you try to knock me down
and keep ME underneath you on the ground,
But I will keep my eyes on the newborn skies
I won't be held down by what I despise
Everywhere I look- I see your face, Everywhere I go- I hear your voice
Telling me I'm wrong- telling me to give up, you try to make my choice
I don't care what you say
my life is in my own hands, now it's time to take a stand against everything I know is wrong, that's been going on for so long
If they can make it so can I, I will touch the sky
and though you beat me down, I will not give up
attack me all around, I'll keep looking up
I don't care what they do,
