Realize we can't win them all. We'll all collapse before the end. Fracture what is left of hope. We'll lie on our faces and wait for nothing, unless we decided to change ourselves. So hard to walk down those steps, into the mouth of misery. Swallowed by the false night, where the color empties out in the dark and quiet. We can only trust this glue will stick, not crack and peel or fade away. This new design will last because together we are more. We must stay strong. Strong enough to bend. Soft enough to stand. This time it will be just right.
