Testo Closing Statement

so here I am, in a crowded room, I'm all by myself.
look around and see that failures the only familiar face I seem to know.
I'm holding myself back from what I want the most, cause there's this
constant pressure hanging over my head of pleasing others lives – that
aren't mine.
won't mold my life into one that's not right for me.
won't follow blind sheep and play my life into other's hands.
I'll choose to live. still trapped behind these walls, held back by my regrets.
I'll choose to live.
beaten down and bruised, I've put all my faith into this.
today is the day, I'll choose to live.
this isn't just to get me by today, this will get me by as long as I'm alive.
