Smiling, when you say,

Shaking in your arms
like a wet kitten by a fire place.

I saw you in the lanterns light.
You wore a face so tempting.
Motions in a way, i cant even begin to describe. Or maybe it was the sight that left me so empty.
You sunk your teeth into my collar bone.
That's when I knew I was no longer alone.

Blood rushed through your cheeks, mine did too.
That's when I saw a different side of you.
Such a voice in the orbit around your eyes.
Diamond stares, shining through the fog in the streets at night.
And yet, I've
fallen for every single attempt.
