it was a picturesque sunday
a day of dogs & freshly mowed lawns
empty highways hummed of semi-trucks
miles off in the distance
the sun at times was too bright
the air too thick to breathe
we would periodically retreat inside
for rounds of play on the state-of-the-art video game system
