I lived my life in shame and anger
An everlasting fight
I left the gods that I once cherished
Left the way of light

I chose not to love
Not to speak
Resolutions and empty words were left for the weak

I rose my hand in flaming fury
Filled myself with hate
I burned what feelings I had left
And now it is too late to...

Turn around and face the future
Nowhere left to run
A hollow shell of flesh and blood is all that I've become
I drained myself of strength and passion
all of me is gone
A splinter of my former self is all that I've become

All that now awaits me is the long dark road to death
and at the end of this here journey
