Can we be straight up for a second, please?
I've got something to get off my chest.

Lately, I've been having trouble sleeping,
kept up by all the shit that's been running through my head.

I've got these bags under my eyes and I think
My empty stare says it all. I'm checking for texts constantly,
But just to make sure I haven't screwed up just yet.

I'm trying hard, I really am.
You just don't see it because
you're still stuck in the past.
Mondays are such a drag...
But let's face it, so is every other day.

And for the first time, in a long time,
I'm not trying to please anyone.

I've got time to waste, but no time to lose.
