You've got me good, with the last line that you said. I hope this won't be something that goes straight to my head like it did the last time you were here, like it did the last time I had fears. I guess for the first time I've grown up. It may be the last time I get cut by your addictions.
Waiting for you is like waiting for the fucking world to end. You've got everybody on their toes but I have yet to see the first hint. Well maybe I don't have the guts or maybe they served up fiction for the truth, to wasted youth.
I've got my health but even that is winding down. I never thought I'd be, still stuck here in this town. Well I have known a few good liars in my time, you take them all, and you would feed me to the lions, watch and taunt me as I fall, to your addictions.
