The mighty clouds seem to float on water
hiding the moon and the starry sky
The stormy winch lash the raging sea
Strange voices whisper and die away

They echo through the night
to captivate the senses deep inside of me
these voices so ethereally let the world fall into oblivion

The waves rear up and seem to touch the sky
My words were lost in the sound of the howling gale
A lonely angel looks my straight in the eye
and touches my soul - affects my mind

But we both know that there's nothing to believe in
Our prayers were lost in time and space
Nothingness devours us, veils our visions
We're trying to hide to find a better place

The eye of the guard is closed forever
The sparkling light - now cold and dead
Nobody is able to resurrect it Silence fills the night

The dust and the ashes of former times
cover our souls and hold on to us
Stony wings - is it the way into your dream?
And to all the other stars?
