Remember when we were the same? Constantly unchanged. You said you'd keep those memories of us for good, and I said I'd do the same. But it's so hard, because sometimes I wanna forget (I will not forget). I wanna forget so bad. Two paths converged, our shoes wore thin together, and when the path diverged, you took the easy way out. Now we're running away, but how I long to retrace those steps and hide within our footprints. But there's nowhere to hide, so I'm still standing here, legs pumping but I'm not moving. I won't forget, all those times, that we shared, no matter what you say or do.
