Testo The Sharpest Thorn

The sharpest thorn prickles my finger
from the painted rose that i found
drops of blood run down my shirt sleeve
as i realize what i've done

the tainted glare from silver linings
is the only thing on my mind
all along the band was playing but i didn't know what song

i feel very ordinary
and the fruit is overly soft
it's almost hypnotizing
it's like i'm staring at a watch
